תור המשיך ואמר: "אמנם כעת זה רק מילים, אבל אני יכול להבטיח לכם כי כל מי שקשור למועדון עושה כל שביכולתו לגרום לקהל שלנו לשוב ולהיות גאה. אף אחד מאיתנו אינו לוקח את זה בקלות. כולנו ממוקדים כעת בכיצד ניתן לשפר את מכבי חיפה בצורה הטובה ביותר שניתן".
In my capacity as Sporting Director of Maccabi Haifa FC I would like to make the following statement in regards to the Europa League second qualifying round
Although I've just recently arrived, I'm fully aware that the performances over the two legs were far below the standards that should rightfully be expected of Maccabi Haifa FC. With all due respect to the Estonian club Nömme Kalju, there's absolutely nothing that excuses the level of performances that we showed over the past two weeks
I feel particularly obliged to apologise to the supporters who spent time and money travelling to Estonia to follow the team. Words are cheap, but I can assure you that absolutely everyone associated with the club will be doing their utmost to make sure that we make our supporters proud again
Nobody takes this lightly and once the disappointment is digested, we will all reflect on how we can improve our performance and serve Maccabi Haifa FC in the best way possible
