A 26-year-old right-back, the first Belgian to play for Maccabi Haifa.
Standing at 1.80 meters tall, Jelle began his football journey at the age of 7 with Oostende, spent two years at Club Brugge, and then returned to his boyhood club. At 23, he joined Royal Antwerp and played a part in the team’s historic domestic double.
Over the years, he shared the pitch with two of Maccabi Haifa’s recent stars — defender Abdoulaye Seck and midfielder Tjaronn Chery. Now, following Chery’s departure from Maccabi Haifa, Jelle is set to play abroad for the first time in his career.
