A right-back who joined Maccabi Haifa from Beitar Jerusalem at the age of 23.
Zohar, who stands 1.90 meters tall, was born in Ashdod to a family of Ethiopian descent and grew up in the youth academy of M.S. Ashdod. Naturally, he went on to feature for the club’s senior team, where he played in the Israeli Premier League for four seasons.

During the January 2024 transfer window, he moved to Beitar Jerusalem, where he remained until a match against Maccabi Haifa in August 2025 that ended in a goalless draw. In that match he was sent off, but just a week later he was part of a “trade” between the two clubs and found himself in the squad of the Greens from Carmel.

Since 2021, Zasno has been part of Israel’s U21 national team, recording one goal in his eight appearances.
