Today morning (Tuesday) Coach Reuven Atar held the weekly press conference and talked about various issues such as the stabilization of the defense, the wide squad and of course the competition for the shirt for the upcoming game on Monday in Bloomfield. Atar emphasized the improvement of the team's defensive game: "I see improvement regarding the coordination in the defensive game, we did not receive goals the last two games and since Dekel Keinan and Avihay Yadin joined us our opponents have no situations against us". The break came at a good time for the green coach who received a few more days for the formation of the squad with the new players" "We were joined by 4 new players about a month ago, the break of two weeks gave them time to bond and settle in professionally and socially with the team". Atar was also asked about Avihay Yadin's position on the field and his opinion regarding Alon Turgeman, he replied: "Yadin played the last few years as a defensive midfielder at a lineup of 2 defensive midfielders. My method is 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1 and Avihay is experienced enough to adapt himself to the system and play midfield or on the side. Alon Turgeman opened for two consecutive games and might continue, I think he is very talented and we have other players who are capable to much more than we have seen of them so far". Regarding the wide squad and the fact that sometimes dominant players are left out, the coach said: "It is not easy to bench such players, but that is the nature of having a wide, good and deep squad. On changes in January we will talk on January, and I prefer speaking in general and not specifically regarding one player or another. I prefer to have a wide squad and even five more top players, so the grass will burn here". Regarding the game against Hapoel Tel-Aviv, Atar said: "Of course we can win, but Hapoel is a good team, we should have accumulated much more points, but we will undoubtedly, come to Bloomfield in order to win. I will not be satisfied even if we win because we still have a gap to close".
